"Elefante Alegre (Joyful Elephant)" (2023) is an original painting made in oil on stretched canvas, with all sides painting so framing is optional. It is inspired by the beautiful coastal seascapes of Huatulco, Oaxaca, in Mexico. It depicts the rocky island, affectionately called 'The Elephant' by locals, against a backdrop of vibrant blue and lavender tones. Ocean waves crash softly against the solitary yet joyful rock, which is framed by prickly tropical plants and the soft fluttering arms of large palm trees.
It is part of my July 2023 series, "Bahias de Huatulco - Isla de los Elefantes" ("Huatulco Bays - Elephant Island").

Paintings are not sold 'upon approval'. This means Claudia cannot accept a return if it doesn't match or you change your mind.
